The long wait for a major international soccer tournament is almost over as Euro 2024 gets underway on Friday, June 14 with Germany taking on Scotland.

Group B is the "Group of Death" with the defending champions Italy taking on Spain, Croatia, and Albania. The Italians have had plenty of turnover since triumphing in England four years ago, but they should do enough to qualify. Euro 2024 Players to watch
Kylian Mbappe (France/Real Madrid)
Mbappe is arguably the best player in the world right now, and he will try to join an elite group of players who have lifted both the World Cup and the Henri Delaunay Trophy. He was named the Young Player of the Tournament at the 2018 World Cup as he scored four goals, but failed to score a single goal in four matches at the 2020 Euros.
Mbappe is on fire right now, and he has something to prove after his poor performance three years ago. He will need to be locked in if France are to claim victory in this competition.

Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium/Man City)
Even casual soccer fans know who, and how good, Kevin De Bruyne is.

Rodri is Spain's most important player and everything that runs through the midfield, runs through Rodri. He was dominant this year for Manchester City in their EPL Title-winning season, and for Spain, Rodri has a great track record of success.
He can win balls back anywhere on the pitch and he can spray passes like a prime Andrea Pirlo. He's also not afraid to take shots on from distance and his eight goals for Man City are a career-high. As Rodri goes, so will Spain.

Phil Foden (England/Man City)
It’s hard to pick a player to watch for England but we’re going for Phil Foden over Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham. Despite winning six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and a Champions League, the 24-year-old hasn’t yet really shone in England colors. That should change here after a 24-goal and 11-assist club season that has underlined his status as one of England’s key players.
