In a parallel universe, reality intertwines with imagination, and an alternate version of myself comes to life. I lead a life that transcends the boundaries of reality. Imagination reigns supreme in these realms, and I think and express myself freely.
Here, my days are not filled with stress and worry - free from limitation. Life doesn’t mean “be the best” and “you must succeed” . I feel bursts of creativity flowing in my veins. I can be myself.
I am an artist, portraying my thoughts and feelings with each sketch and portrait. I express myself through different forms of art and music. My canvas isn’t smeared with paint - it’s smeared with spectrums of dreams and hope, seemingly alive. I play my harp, sending celestial tunes that echo across the universe, inspiring planets and stars alike to dance along to my graceful melodies.
I am also an explorer of uncharted dimensions. With an insatiable thirst for exploration, I embark on journeys exploring every nook and cranny, traversing the universe in search of surprises. I step on my cosmic boat and set sail, navigating the sea that is the Milky Way.
All my ideas may sound bizarre and absurd, but it’s what I envision. Perhaps in a teen’s life, weighed down by substantial parental expectations of a successful future and traditional education’s limitation, there isn’t room for innovative thinking. You must tackle life’s challenges, however gruelling and realistic they may be, and a life with no creativity soon becomes mundane and monotonous. However, alternate universes provide room for hopes and dreams. Thoughts and feelings run free and emotions are easily voiced. The alternate ‘me’ explorers, connects and creates, bringing some colour to an otherwise black-and-white world.
Treasure current opportunities and don’t be afraid to dream big. However challenging life may be, always remember that there is light at the end of a dark tunnel. Life may seem meaningless at times, but you can always bring the meaning back to life by being inventive and imaginative. Be creative and always speak yourself. Most importantly, unleash your imagination and bring excitement to your world!

As a passionate writer, Write to Win has been a wonderful opportunity for me to get my creative juices flowing. I would like to thank all the readers for your support. Please continue to vote for Avocado!
In a parallel universe, the alternate version of myself would live a more exciting and fulfilling life. I would strive to do my best in my studies. I would also have immaculate time management and multitasking skills to balance my social activities and hobbies in my schedule perfectly. Hence, I could devote extra time to areas such as charity work, environmental conservation, and scientific discovery.
I believe strongly in social work and have visited elderly homes to help bring joy to residents. My alternate version would take this further and help senior citizens travel around the city every month.
This would brighten their lives by allowing them to take public transport, visit parks and museums, and even engage in outdoor activities. Such enrichment is strongly correlated with healthy ageing and helps prevent or delay the onset of dementia.
Our lives depend on a healthy environment, whether in this universe or a parallel one. I currently set a good example by using reusable utensils at school during lunchtime.
My alternate version will inspire my friends, classmates and even society at large to do the same. I would seek sponsors to donate reusable utensils to schools across Hong Kong. I would implement an attractive reward scheme to encourage reusable utensils and lunchboxes.
Scientific discovery improves the lives of people in every universe. One aspect of scientific knowledge that can be advanced is our understanding of the elements which make up matter.
There are about 90 naturally occurring elements, such as oxygen, and close to 30 synthetic elements. My alternate version would assist with the discovery and creation of new elements. These elements will lead to improved methods for healthy ageing and treating severe diseases. The new elements will also be essential to environmentally friendly technologies.
All in all, my alternate version would be an all-rounded version 2.0 of my current self.
